Admission Criteria

Neurologic Dysfunction as the result of:

Closed or penetrating head injury.
Central nervous system disease.
Brain tumors.
Cerebrovascular accidents.
Exposure to neurotoxin.
Metabolic disorders.
Anoxia.
Various encephalopathies.
Medically Stable.

Reasonably expected to benefit from rehabilitation.

 

The Center will provide outcome-oriented, individualized care for a range of complex needs. These may include:
airway management
catastrophic injury rehabilitation
coma stimulation
dysphagia management
emerging behavioral management issues
family education and support / respite program
infectious disease management
IV therapy, including drips and antibiotics (infusion therapy)
joint replacement
neurology services
nutritional support including parenteral nutrition
oncology services
orthopedic services
pain management
peritoneal dialysis
post-surgery recovery
respiratory services including ventilator support
spinal cord injury
therapeutic recreation
wound care
