The Coma Intervention Program is designed for rapid enhancement of recovery, while promoting health, and reducing medical complications. Clients at SMRC @ FINR will be provided a treatment regimen of multi-sensory stimulation consisting of auditory, visual, tactile, olfactory modalities in order to prevent brain sensory deprivation.

Ventilator Weaning

Individuals who are ventilator dependent or are being weaned can be treated for respiratory needs, tracheostomy care, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease therapy and continuous positive air pressure.

Individuals that require wound care for post-surgical procedures, traumatic injury, burns, pressure wounds, peripheral vascular disease and cellulitis will be provided a full range of cost-effective services. Care will encompass tissue debridement, complex dressing, electrical stimulation, pressure relief, whirlpool therapy, intramuscular injection, intravenous antibiotics and topical medication application.
