Dear Randi:

It has been a long, hard two years since my son had his accident. The Trauma Center, Intensive Care, gastro tubes, feeding tubes, trach and lots of tears are fading out of the nightmare stage and are turning into memories.

One of the hardest parts was finding the right people to advise us. The next was finding the right placement for him. Our search was finally over when a medical social worker referred us to Florida Institute for Neurologic Rehabilitation, Inc. Coming from the midwest, it seemed so far away and it seemed so hard to think of sending him to Flordia. The Institute's help with travel and visitation was wonderful and helped to ease our heartbreak. It let us see for ourselves how well he was doing. It has been a long, bumpy road, but with the help and understanding of the professionals at FINR we are looking forward to the future once again. Thank you.
