"It is
good to have an end to journey toward;
but it is the journey that matters in the end" The
following compilation of case studies will demonstrate the
difficult and sometimes insurmountable challenges facing
many of the Florida Institute’s clients after sustaining a
brain injury. Technology
and the ability to chronologue progress in treatment on our
site will allow other patients and families worldwide the
opportunity to observe firsthand the types of treatment
programs and effort made by patients during their
Rehabilitation. Many
of the following patients have been part of the “revolving
door syndrome” which created a scenario of multiple prior
placements and poor transition into their home communities.
The Florida Institute will demonstrate in the
following patient vignettes the “journey that matters”
and hopefully everyone who visits the site will glean from
this invaluable experience. |
